Pre-Press Specialist
We're looking for the right person to fill an important position in our printing pre-press department.
This position involves pre-flight of customer files, preparing them for CTP or digital output, plating, proof output, downloading files from our FTP site, file and record maintenance, some typesetting and basic file manipulation, imposition, and maintaining a fast, accurate production workflow.
You'll need experience in the offset printing industry, and be familiar with all the basic graphic applications. We utilize PDF workflow, and understanding the basics of PDF production is essential.
The ideal candidate has both conventional and digital pre-press experience. 3+ years demonstrated digital pre-press experience in a production environment absolutely required.
We're a $3 million+ business printer and direct mail company located in the San Fernando Valley. We have been in business for 18 years. We have 14 employees, top-shelf offset and pre-press technology, 5 presses including a 5-color press, full bindery and a separate direct mail marketing and production company. We operate out of our own 13,000 sq ft facility in Van Nuys.
